Artist Comment; This was based on an Avenger's sleep over.

"Tony," Steve whispered, trying not to wake the other slumbering Avengers. Though he's sure if they could sleep through Thor's snoring, they'd sleep through him screaming. But he was.. Polite. He touched Tony's shoulder, and then shook him lightly.
When all he got in response was a mumble and a swat of Tony's hand, he shook him again. Tony opened his eyes slowly, bloodshot from waking up from a deep sleep.
"Tony," Steve repeated, "I can't sleep."
Tony sighed and rolled over onto his back. "Tony!!" Steve whined loudly. Tony rolled back over, glaring at Steve.
"What do you want?" He grumbled, sitting up. Steve pouted. "I can't sleep." He drawled out. He locked his eyes with Tony, making sure he was still awake and wouldn't go back to sleep.
"Why not..?" Tony growled sleepily. "It's so late, Steve, jeez."
"B-because.." Steve looked around wearily, and mumbled to Tony, "Promise not to tell?" Tony rolled his eyes but nodded, leaning back on his elbows to look at Steve through the darkness.
"I don't really like the dark." Tony tilted his head in confusion.
"What do you mean by that?"
"I-I mean..." Steve twiddled his thumbs. "I'm kinda.. Ya know. Scared of it." He dug his claws into the rug, leaning forward to Tony. "Don't tell anyone..!"
Tony almost laughed, a twinkle of amusement in his eye until he realized Steve was serious. "O-oh.." Tony sighed and brushed his hand through his hair.
"Look, Steve, I don't know why you're afraid of the dark, and I honestly don't want to know why. Grab your sleeping bag, and put it right here." Tony patted the spot next to him and laid down again. Steve eagerly dragged his sleeping bag over and laid down next to him, pressing half his body against Tony's.
Tony sighed annoyingly, and shoved Steve away, but grabbed his hand. He held it up for him to see. "Here," he said. "I won't let go, so you know I'll be here to protect you from whatever." Steve grinned at him, and Tony blushed a little, turning away.
They fell asleep together, woke up with a bunch of teasing teammates.

A STony Farewell
"Do you have to go?" Tony was pressed against Steve, speaking directly with the Cap's sternum.
"Do you have to wait until we're at the airport to get emotional?" Steve was smiling into Tony's hair, his arms resting on Tony's waist.
"I'm not emotional." Tony retorted, his arms around Steve's neck. "I just
I don't think Bruce will be able to work knowing you're not at Stark Tower to keep us safe."
"I'll be fine," Bruce piped up from behind them, his hand in Clint's. "Agent Barton is enough protection for me."
"I think he just hit on me. Did you guys here that? That's what I heard. Bruce Banner just h

When the Truth Hurts
Tony paced around the hospital waiting hall, desperate for a drink. Steve was sitting down, following Tony with his eyes, his leg twitching. Both were silent.
The fight was unbalanced, the enemy was grasping the Avengers' techniques and was more capable of dodging the attacks. The team didn't have a plan, they were just exhausting themselves trying to take him down. But the odds changed when Spiderman came to their aid.
They had heard of Spiderman, but didn't know who was under that mask or if he could be trusted. But when he appeared out of nowhere, the element of surprise distracted their enemy, which opened an opportunity to take him dow

Three Words
There was this thing bothering Tony. There were times when he was with Steve that he got this strange feeling, he had no idea what it was, but it felt like his his chest was tightening and his throat felt itchy.
Sometimes it happened during and/or after sex. Other times it was at four in the morning when Steve came down to his workshop and -instead of dragging him to bed- handed him a fresh cup of coffee and asked Tony what he was doing.
It happened when they had silly fights about the remote. It also happened when they had more serious fights after one of them gets injured in battle. Sometimes they spent hours without talking to each other
